Fix msvbvm50.dll Missing Error in Windows 7 and Vista

It is an unsupported program from the Windows Dynamic Link Library Family. If you have installed an old application or software which requires this dll file you will be shown “Msvbvm50.dll Not Found” Error.

Since this is an old dll file, Windows XP users usually do not encounter this problem as it was included in the later released service packs. Windows VISTA and Windows 7 operating systems do not have this file in the root directory. You cannot install the dll file individually but rather use msvbvm50.exe to install the dll file automatically in the required location.

  1. I was facing this issue in my Windows 7 recently when I installed one of my software. But, I thought that the software might have broken. So now, I got to know that the error can be fixed by adding .dll file.
